Tar Beach Activity Pictures

As promised, here are two work samples from my students after reading Tar Beach. They were to draw a picture of Cassie after we created our class character map. This student used crayons and decided to collage the bridge using several different colors.

This student also used crayon but they collaged Cassie's dress using blue paper.

Here is the display outside of my classroom.
